A EPS cutting machine is a electrical cutting machine used to cut or handle polystyrene / styrofoam (EPS, XPS) foams and similar materials. The machine consists of a thin, NICR cutting wire, often made of NiChrome, Titanium, Stainless steel, or a thicker wire preformed into a desired shape, which is heated via electrical resistance to appr. 400 – 500°C. As the cutting wire is passed through the material to be cut, the heat from the wire vaporates the material just in advance of contact.

The EPS cutting machine can be designed with horizontal,vertical and guillotine cutting wires.The EPS foam block can be cut by three directions.We can custom make with customer demand.

The heating temperature of hot wire can be adjusted and hot wire tools moving speed can be adjusted too.
